Wash basin care

This time, I would like to introduce the maintenance of the sink every time.

The main cleaning areas for washbasins include wash bowls, drains, faucets, mirrors, etc.

○How to maintain it every time

Washbowl: Water flows through it every time, so it's an area that gets dirty easily. Apply mild soap to a sponge, lather, then wash by rubbing.

There is a small drainage hole to prevent overflow, but that part also gets dirty easily, so be sure to check.

Once you've finished washing the sink bowl, it will also prevent mold, so it's a good idea to wipe it off with a microcloth or the like.

Drains:

When you flush the water, the flow is poor, and if the water starts to accumulate, there is a special detergent, so pour in an appropriate amount (determined by the detergent) and soak for about 20 to 30 minutes.

Then rinse off the detergent with plenty of water. If detergent remains, clogs may occur when dried.

What if the drain gets clogged?

Lint and trash such as hair and towels can accumulate in the trap part of the drain pipe and become clogged.
At that time, it's a good idea to use a small rubber cup for the sink.

Store water in the sink, install a rubber cup on the drain, and move it back and forth to suck it out.
The point is to move slowly when pushing and move quickly when pulling.
If you move in reverse, the condition may worsen, so be careful.

Faucets:

For stainless steel faucets, soak a sponge with mild detergent and scrub.
If you clean it with a melamine sponge (Crash Drop) all the time, it will wear out and lose its luster, so please use it once in a while.

Also, since water stains tend to accumulate where the faucet and sink are installed, it is easy to remove dirt by using a spatula or the like (see Photo 1).

Moisten the microcloth with a semi-damp cloth and wipe it off.
