The degree of deterioration of asbestos

At one site, there was a case where “miscellaneous insects invaded through a gap between the outer wall and the ground.”

This is a picture from the outside of the building, and you can see that there is a gap between the exterior wall and the concrete ground.

Inside this building, many walking insects thought to have invaded the outside were caught.
In response to this, as a result of carrying out various investigations, it was determined that there is a high possibility of intrusion from the lower surface of the wall.
The internal structure of the wall is unknown, but it was speculated that the gap between the outer perimeter and the interior are probably connected.

In response to this, a powdery insecticide “powder” was applied to the outer gap as a countermeasure.

Compared to liquid insecticides, powders tend to remain in the construction area, and long-term effects can be expected in places where rain and wind are less affected.

Suppression with agents such as powders and granules is effective against insects that are invasive by walking, but it is also only possible when an invasion route has been identified.
