Asbestos in kitchen space

The kitchen space has interior restrictions under the Building Standards Act as a room that uses fire, and it has been decided that it will have a non-flammable finish*¹.

Since asbestos has properties such as heat resistance, it used to be used in kitchen spaces as well as wall materials, ceilings, etc.

In normal use, the risk of asbestos scattering is considered low, but if you want to dismantle and remove the interior of the kitchen space due to remodeling, etc., it is necessary to conduct a preliminary investigation and analysis of asbestos depending on the scale. Currently, law revisions relating to asbestos have been implemented, and it is mandatory for qualified personnel to conduct investigations^*3.
